Ozzie Guillen Will Tweet #MLB

I like this. I like this very much.

Ozzie Guillen is going to tweet, despite the fact that the team is not down with the idea. General Manager Ken Williams is not giving Oz the green light.

"No comment ... and make sure you write that it is a no comment with a head shake from side to side," Williams said.

Ozzie, because he is Ozzie, is going to do what he wants to do.

"Listen, I'm a grown man," Guillen said. "A lot of people think I do stuff without thinking or talking to people. Any information out there, I'm not stupid enough where I will say, 'We're going to make a move today.' ... That's not the idea. I'm not going to give fans the message before I give it to the media, it's never going to happen. The Twitter is like what I am doing today, have fun with it. It's all personal."

Whatever you say Oz. Just do your thing. If you want to write about mundane, everyday garbage, do it. If you want to talk baseball, do it. Just keep tweeting, because eventually, you will go Ozzie Guillen, you will have your iPhone in front of you, you will pick it up and start getting off what are sure to become some of the greatest tweets of all time.

The first five game losing streak, the first time someone misses a sign, a pitcher who won’t throw at someone’s head on your command, and the profanity filled ‘Spanglish’ will be phenomenal. Of course the team doesn’t want Ozzie to tweet. There has never been a more combustible social media combination.

Let’s get the season started, let’s make sure Ozzie’s mobile device is fully charged and let’s see what happens, because eventually it is going to be legendary.

I wonder how he"ll make the "Chhh...pleez" tweet. This has the hallmark of an improvised nuclear device being thrown into an erupting volcano when Ozzie loses it. I currently am not on Twitter, because honestly, how many times do I need to know someone is going to the bathroom during the day? But I may just consider establishing a Twitter account to read his musings and madness.
