Tiger’s Divorce, Now What? #PGA

According to a report in a Euro tabloid, the divorce between Tiger and Elin Woods is all but final and Elin will get, wait for it...$750,000,000. A nine digit settlement. Yes, that number is probably inaccurate, probably even wildly so. But even if it is two thirds of that amount, or half of that amount, that is a ridiculous amount of money.

For her three-quarters of a billion dollars (maybe), all she has to do is never speak about Tiger publicly ever again. No books, no interviews, no nothing. The report speculates that Team Tiger is buying her silence out of fear that she would re-surface right as his career starts to get rolling again. He starts getting endorsements again, people start to forget the names Joslyn James, Rachel Uchitel, and the other members of his porn-laden harem, and he is on the verge of opening the Tiger mint once again. She could pop up right as people think of him as a golfer first, and ruin him all over again.

Think of it like this. Imagine people starting to forgive OJ, only Nicole crawls out of her grave to remind people of what he did. Ok, bad analogy...sort of.

All of this begs the question...what does she know? If he is going to fork over almost a billion dollars out of fear that she might talk at some point, what the hell does she know that is worth that amount of scratch? We know about the voice mails, we know about his graphic text messages, we know that he wouldn’t even fork over rent money for one of the bimbos. Again, what does she know?

Whatever it is it is worth a whole hell of a lot of money.

I hope it was worth it. I hope that the skanks and the sexing was what you wanted most. I hope it was worth more than $750 million. I hope it was worth your kids moving to Sweden. I hope it was worth destroying your reputation and your game. I hope that a porn star and many many others were worth all of it; because that is one hell of a price to pay.
